Calling all aspiring Uniport students seeking Direct Entry admission! The application process is open, and here’s everything you need to know to apply online:

Eligibility:

• You must be at least 16 years old by October 2024.
• Your names across all documents (O’Level, A’Level, JAMB results, etc.) must be consistent.

Application Dates:

• Opens: Wednesday, July 24th, 2024
• Closes: Friday, August 16th, 2024 (Important: Application link closes at noon!)

How to Apply:

1. Visit the UNIPORT website: https://utmedetails.uniport.edu.ng/welcome_de.php
2. Click on “Direct Entry Application” and log in using your JAMB Registration Number.
3. Review and confirm your pre-loaded JAMB details.
4. Generate a Remita code for payment (₦2,000). You can pay online with your debit/credit card or use the payment slip at designated banks.
5. After payment, obtain a Remita receipt with an access code.
6. Login again with your JAMB number and access code.
7. Complete the online application form, providing details about:
   • Your name
   • Chosen course
   • Qualifying exams (O’Level, A’Level/Diploma/NCE/JUPEB/IJMB, Degree)
   • Results obtained (pass level and points)
   • JAMB Registration Number
8. Submit the form.

Submitting Additional Documents:

• Submit photocopies of:
  • JAMB slip
  • Birth certificate/age declaration
  • O’Level results (WASSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB)
  • A’Level/Diploma/NCE/JUPEB/IJMB and Degree results (showing CGPA, if applicable)
• Two options for submission:
  • In person: Visit the Admissions Office at the University of Port Harcourt, Choba.
  • By mail: Send a courier to The Admissions Officer, University of Port Harcourt, Choba, P.M.B. 5323, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
